Being a Director of Compliance at iManage Means… 

At iManage, security is at the heart of our cloud-native platform, and you will be responsible for all elements of our security compliance program. You will manage 5-6 security compliance team members that will guide the global teams on security considerations as well as improve compliance at iManage. You are comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders including IT, Engineering, Security Operations, Presales & Customers security compliance teams. 

As a strategic leader of our Security team, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of high impact security initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving our security and compliance objectives, overseeing remediation strategies, and developing comprehensive compliance and security metrics. Additionally, you will translate external security standards into clear, actionable directives for our operations and engineering teams. You will also be responsible for proactively assessing risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, providing real-time insights and reporting to both our management and cross functional teams.

iM Responsible For… 

  • Developing and delivering the GRC strategic roadmap 
  • Developing and implementing Policies, Standards, and Processes in support of the GRC program 
  • Directing our internal assessment, third-party audit, and customer compliance request programs 
  • Leading our risk management program, ensures risks are identified, reported, and managed as required 
  • Ensuring that our security controls remain current and are capable of being assessed and measured 
  • Reporting metrics that depict our security posture and the effectiveness of our security program 
  • Leading remediation efforts for any assessments or audit findings 
  • Partnering with the operational and business teams to drive remediation items to closure 
  • Researching new security tooling and techniques to enhance our security processes and posture 
  • Overseeing the Security Awareness Program 

iM Qualified Because I Have… 

  • 5 - 7+ years of experience managing security governance, risk, and compliance activities 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science as preferred 
  • Security Certifications (CISSP, CRISC, CISA, SANs GIAC, etc.) 
  • Extensive knowledge about industry standards and regulations and can translate complex security concepts into layman’s terms 
  • Strong understanding of security risk frameworks and ability to lead the execution and implementation of the frameworks as well as articulate their value and purpose 
  • Experience developing, tracking, and reporting key metrics and KPIs 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and is capable of managing highly motivated individuals 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate risks to executive leadership and key stakeholders 
  • An interest in emerging technologies related to information security and compliance 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others in the promotion of security 
  • An ability to effectively lead and manage a remote workforce
