Being a Principal People Operations Business Partner at iManage Means… You will effectively coach, influence and use your analytical skills to provide clear advice and guidance on all People Operations related matters and activities for our Global Technology Department employee population. You will serve as a liaison between our People Operations team and your functional business leaders to ensure people solutions and services are delivered. You will partner with our Engineering Executive and Senior Leadership team to help them execute their day-to-day management activities including performance management, employee relations, rewards, and HR policy and procedures. You will also consult with them on strategic initiatives such as succession planning, talent development and organizational design. Our engineering team is building mission critical software for our customers, and your support will ensure they can meet their deliverables and thrive in their career here at iManage.

Strategic Partnership
Collaborating with technology leaders to align People Operations strategies with business objectives, driving workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Advising, coaching, and supporting senior leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and people management competencies.
Providing expert guidance to leaders and managers on People Operations policies, employment legislation, and employee relations matters.
Partnering with senior leaders to understand business and talent challenges, devising strategic and tailored people solutions.
Shaping the future of the Technology Department by leading initiatives focused on talent development, succession planning, and organizational design.
Utilizing data-driven insights to identify workforce trends and deliver actionable recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Performance Excellence & Talent Management
Designing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top technical talent, building a robust talent pipeline both internally and externally.
Coaching leaders and managers on performance management practices, including goal-setting, constructive feedback, and career development for technical teams.
Championing a culture of innovation, inclusion, and engagement across the technology organization.
Collaborating with leaders to identify skill gaps and develop tailored training and development programs for the technical workforce.
Change Management
Partnering with leaders to design and execute change initiatives that support the organization’s evolving technology strategies and objectives.
Driving innovation by enhancing and implementing People Operations initiatives in a dynamic, high-growth technology environment.
Building strong and trusted relationships across the business to foster effective collaboration on all people-related initiatives.
People Operations Programs
Leading and overseeing key projects within the business unit and People Operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and successful execution.
Providing strategic guidance on HR policies, employment laws, and best practices tailored to the unique needs of technology teams.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree preferred
10+ years of HR experience with 3+ years in a strategic HRBP role
Experience working in a progressive, fast-paced technology environment
Broad HR knowledge including experience with employee relations, L&D, and performance management
The ability to build credibility and trust with senior leaders in an advisor capacity
Experience partnering with executives & senior management to drive people strategies
Strong business orientation and proven success at driving business results through people-based solutions at a technology company
Strong understanding of employment laws, benefits, compensation philosophies, and HR best practices
Demonstrated experience managing projects and problem solving, and an ability to prioritize and adapt to a mixture of activities
An ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to confidently interface with all levels of the organization and build trusting relationships
Strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $121,000 – $188,000. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits. Your recruiter will provide further details about the offer range, incentives, and overall compensation during the hiring process.
