The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $100,000–$130,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits. Being an Event Marketing Manager at iManage Means…
You will lead the planning and execution of high-impact events that drive brand awareness, engagement, and pipeline for the iManage technology solutions. This individual will have strong project management expertise, experience working in fast-paced tech environments, and a proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to bring memorable event experiences to life. You’ll play a pivotal role in translating messaging into experiential moments, ensuring every event aligns with our brand, campaign goals, and audience needs.
iM Responsible For…
- Planning, executing, and optimizing a variety of events including conferences, customer summits, roadshows, industry trade shows, and executive briefings.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including portfolio marketing, creative, demand generation, content, sales, and product management to develop event strategies that support business goals.
- Driving event initiatives through the creation of event strategy briefs that align with strategic business goals and developing scalable frameworks to standardize execution across programs.
- Owning end-to-end project management for events: budgeting, timelines, vendor management, staffing, run-of-show, risk management, contingency plans, on-site execution, reporting and analysis.
- Orchestrating and owning the end-to-end translation of campaign and product messaging into cohesive event experiences through cross-functional collaboration across branding, session content, signage, and interactive activations.
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the end-to-end customer experience at events, ensuring meaningful engagement, seamless execution, and alignment with brand values.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and executive sponsors, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and outcomes.
- Tracking and reporting on event performance metrics (ROI, attendance, engagement, sourced/attributed pipeline) and using data to inform future strategy.
- Managing relationships with external vendors, venues, and partners to ensure high-quality execution and cost-effectiveness.
- Supporting pre- and post-event communications in collaboration with the marketing and content teams.
- 7+ years of experience in event management, field marketing, or experiential marketing, ideally within a B2B tech or SaaS company.
- Demonstrated success strategizing, planning, and executing a wide range of event formats — including large-scale conferences, C-level briefings, product launches, roadshows, virtual/hybrid experiences, and partner events.
- A strong background in aligning events with integrated marketing campaigns, brand narratives, and revenue goals.
- A proven ability to collaborate amongst cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships (from sales to product to executive leadership).
- Deep expertise in project management, including scoping, budgeting, vendor negotiations, contracts, risk management, and post-event analysis.
- Expertise in messaging-driven event design, with experience bringing brand and product positioning to life across event content, branding, and activations.
- Comfortability presenting strategies, event concepts, and results to internal leadership and external partners.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to define success metrics, analyze performance, and optimize event strategy based on business impact (e.g., lead gen, pipeline acceleration, customer engagement).
- Proficiency with event tools and platforms such as:
- Project Management: Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet
- Event Tools: Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, On24, Zoom Events
- CRM & Marketing Ops: Salesforce, Seismic, Marketo
- A strong understanding of event production, AV requirements, and audience engagement strategies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset under pressure.
- Willingness to travel (~25%) for event execution.
- Experience with demand generation metrics and understanding of how events contribute to pipeline.
- Familiarity with hybrid and virtual event platforms and production.
- A background in or passion for AI, cloud, or legal tech.
