Software Engineer Intern (Trust Center Team)
What is iManage U?
iManage U provides students the chance to experience a dynamic, rapid growth technology company firsthand. iManage will provide a structured program which delivers project-based activities, improved knowledge of business fundamentals, tackling complex problem solving, collaboration, team building, and some fun experiences along the way! This year, our paid internship program will kick-off on Monday, June 2nd and will run through Friday, August 8th.
This internship will be based out of our downtown Chicago office, with activities requiring in-person presence.
Goals of the Program:

- iM A Mentee: Learn from teammates across departments & gain perspectives from a diversity of people
- iM A Connector: Meet & connect with as many interns and iManage employees as possible
- iM Inspired: Learn from our leadership team and ask questions during our lunch and learns
- iM Social: Enjoy events, and everything iManage has to offer this summer
You will be part of a dedicated software development team that delivers the iManage Cloud Trust Center—a customer-facing service that reports the status of the iManage Cloud services. You will have the opportunity to learn and participate in an agile development environment, while gaining exposure to key elements of delivering a cloud service.
iM Responsible For…
- Collaborating with a well-organized team across product, engineering, and agile project management
- Working in an agile development framework and participating in sprints
- Working in our cloud-based software development environment and learning about our Microsoft Azure environment
- Learning change control procedures and source code management with Github
- Learning our CI/CD pipeline
- Been pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Proficiency with Python scripting language
- An understanding of object-oriented programming
- A comfortable working knowledge of the Linux operating environment
- Experience with relational databases such as MS-SQL, MySQL, or Postgres
- Experience consuming and writing data to SaaS applications using Rest APIs
- Basic knowledge of networking and common firewall technologies
- The ability to work collaboratively and take direction
