Being a Software Engineer at iManage Means…

You are a passionate engineer who will play a critical role in building our Security Policy Management (SPM) product in an agile environment. As a developer, you’ll play a key role and be at the heart of the development, solving exciting and challenging problems in a collaborative team. You’ll be hands-on and get the opportunity to take ownership with building out our architecture and driving the development throughout the SDLC. You’ll be collaborating directly with product teams and technical specialists to deliver the roadmap, drive engineering initiatives and develop key features for our SPM product. 

The SPM product, a security application which controls the access and governance across the iManage Cloud platform, and you’ll be involved in developing solutions to transition our SPM product from on-premise offerings to a SaaS cloud solution.

iM Responsible For…
  • Taking ownership and seeing a project through the full SDLC and production maintenance. 
  • Designing and implementing software solutions for reliability, resource utilisation, high availability, I/O throughput, performance, scalability and security.
  • Working directly with engineering managers and your team to help deliver the product roadmap
  • Participating in design reviews, code reviews, and unit and integration test reviews.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and stand ups.
  • Engaging with your team members to create a fun and energetic place to work and learn.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
  • Experience in Java and related design patterns.
  • An insatiable curiosity about software engineering and technology.
  • A high-level of competence in programming, including reading, understanding and improving existing code.
  • A strong work ethic and desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • A degree in an IT/Computer Sciences discipline or equivalent work experience.
Bonus Points If I Have...
  • Experience in Spring/ Spring Boot
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes
  • Experience in building distributed systems for enterprise or cloud-based applications
  • Exposure to Cloud Development (Azure, GCP, AWS)
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
  • Worked in an Agile Environment
